Villas Elenite - Royal Club Elenite Resort 4*

By this review, I want to point out to specialties of your rest in Royal Club Victoria-Elenite. I am in absolute charge of my further words, facts and provided evidences to be TRUTH.

During the period June/August 2017 I was working in the sweet-shop of the previous named complex. It was a fortune for me, I thought, to go for a job there as I am a student in Tourism field of studies, so I was able to enhance my professional skills and gain some extra experience by going practicing therein.

Unfortunately, it was a biggest mistake of this summer to visit Bulgaria and Victoria Group’s “Royal” club in Elenite. The experience gained during the work, cost me a tremendous stress and colossal nervous exhaustion.

Without going too far from the topic, I want to warn every tourist about awaiting "the best" treatment and "royal" quality of services and food within this complex. First of all, Royal Club Victoria-Elenite (specifically hotels: Royal Park, Royal Bay, Andalusia Beach, Atrium Beach, Royal Castle, Negresko and all-inclusive villas) position itself as a "paradise for vacation of the whole family". From the first glance, in photos this place may seem to be a paradise to you, but on the spot you will find out the physical deterioration of many buildings, restaurants, and the emergency condition of the proposed villas. Just be ready to move in not to the "paradise villa of your dreams", but to a shabby premise with many defects inside: non-functional appliances, broken washbasins and broken household appliances will cordially greet you in the ‘paradise’ corner, according to the stories of many tourists whom I met at the resort.

Indeed, besides breakfast / lunch / dinner, the Royal Club Victoria-Elenite offers numerous snacks. Those include popcorn, hot dogs, pancakes, baked potatoes, and directly the place of my work – the sweet-shop. It is worth noting that all the dishes and goodies pass through the hands of the Gypsies. Not first fresh foods are being transported and prepared in complete unsanitary conditions, among insects, clouds of flies and cockroaches. For example, in the photo - a firm ‘chief’s salad’, with yesterday's pasta and ham. Rancid meat, twice-frozen fish, rotten cheese, eggs affected by salmonella, are being fried and stewed, therefore filled with different sauces and unceremoniously proposed at the buffet. Dry mixtures are diluted with water and miraculously turned into ‘delicate’ soups and mashed potatoes. Traditional Bulgarian pancakes ‘palachynky’ are actually semifinished products, so as another dishes are full of preservatives. Vegetables and fruits – are a separate story to be told... Sometimes, even with the naked eye, you can see that carrots and cabbage are not washed properly, and are being served to a table with traces of dirt. Beside them we see plates, forks, and knives hurry-scurry washed with a trickle of water. Finally, judge for yourself: can spoiled food cooked by gypsies be exhibited with pride to treat guests? Or, perhaps, lots of children??? Horror, absolute negligence, unsanitary conditions and just a mad economy on the health of tourists and their rest. Be aware and save the health of your family!!! By attached photos I would like to testify to you that "royal" quality of all food and the awful conditions of its preparation in the Royal Club Victoria-Elenite complex of the Victoria Group.

The last part of my review is the staff. Basically, all the personnel of the complex, excepting the highest positions, are Ukrainian students. Also, young Bulgarians and Turkish work there. The lowest positions are occupied by Gypsies, who are also engaged in transportation of products and cooking as well. In the photo you can see the conditions food is being prepared in, and how much the sanitary and epidemiological standards are observed: with dishes for tourists kept on the floor, with cockroaches in glasses..

Surprisingly, on the territory of such a fashionable "royal" complex you will hardly be able to find a person who adequately speaks English. What can I say about other languages: Polish, German, Czech, Hungarian, Ukrainian? Only Bulgarian and Russian. But why in a complex of such level staff speak only two languages? How to be, for example, the British, Germans, Poles, Ukrainians, Hungarians, if the Bulgarian staff speak INTERNATIONAL English language in a pitiful, elementary level?

Moreover, the staff is not qualified. We all came for practicing, only to gain experience. Some of the guys came to work with a study visa, which is obviously illegal, but it did not happen to be a problem for the Bulgarians!!! The attitude towards us was no way hospitable and extremely inhuman. Fines for any potty mistake. While these fines were previously fictitious and false, none of the Bulgarian side was about warning us about the existence of the fine. However, they are masters for simple putting us before the fact when we receive a salary! Bullying and mockery was detected as well. For example, when tired and hungry staff fanatically took food, because it was always not enough for each to be fed up normally, the Bulgarian managers record it several times on a video, made photographs, openly mocking and joking about us between each other. There was a time when for the slightest failure in the work, my friend received several cuffs on the nape from his Bulgarian manager! Impossible!! I was especially disappointed with the attitude towards the Ukrainian people in the complex to be very impudent and insignificant. Us, young foreign trainees who came there NOT BEING IN NEED OF MONEY, but for practice, they took for needy slaves, at the same time "sincerely" smiling to tourists from Ukraine...

I can go on with the stories about the horrors awaiting you in the Victoria Group’s Royal Club Victoria-Elenite complex endlessly.. However, this review is not aimed at stories, but to warn you against such a ‘holiday’. From the bottom of my heart I warn you: take care of your health, time and money!!! For the rest of my life I do not advise you to go there, because no matter how good this complex and the villas may seem to you in the photo. But in reality it is just a hell: unsanitary conditions, gypsies, worn out premises, cruel arrogance, total hypocrisy and many other "surprises" costing some serious money from the network Victoria Group.
