Booked a tour to your hotel and read such horrors in reviews !!! Where to find out what actually should get ready to? tell me where is a normal beach nearby? Is there a pier to get immediately in depth? Have you thought of where to clean the algae?
Well, there are good beaches on Djerba! Do not worry. And they clean it well. Good reviews are rarely written. And the negative is everywhere enough. Yes, there are algae, because it is a living culture (this can not be avoided). They are in the Maldives and in the Dominican Republic. And everywhere they clean. If the storm or at Djerba happens the weather, I do not remember how they called this phenomenon, last year we observed this for 2 days, when the temperature is +52 and no wind at the land, and the wind and the storm on the coast, they just do not have time to clean them. The high season on Djerba is from June 15 to October 10. And the hotels start working in full mode. Until June 15, you can find closed bars, non-working air-conditioners in the rooms, a scant choice of food in restaurants and a sleepy, not efficient staff. Plus, after the closed Turkey and Egypt, when last summer Djerba accepted our tourist, they had races 6 times more than the previous years, (even old men worked on the beaches), after so many earned money (talked with local people, they never said they earned so much , As in the summer of 2016) I think they will unleash the hotels for the summer of 2017 in full force)))
