Second visit "Not so happy"
We booked for 2nights in Ramada from 13th till 14th December. "The room was very nice & clean, the door staff were incredibly helpful but the coffeeshop the service was slow it took about 30mins in total to get a cup of coffee. Checking out took a long time" (this was the review of my husband posted in booking.com) it wasn't a big deal for us & we liked the cleanliness of the rooms that's why we decided to rebooked again in this hotel after our 2days visit in Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah. Checked in again for 2nights 17th till 19th but this time was different because we booked for two but husband will fly back to England in the night at 10pm. That's why before we came to the hotel we did call and ask if it would be okay if the main guests will checkout (my husband) and i will invite my colleague (woman) to stay with me for two nights cause i need a company since we booked for two and i will be staying alone. We got the confirmation from the operator who answered my call (forgot her name but a woman) that there is no problem with that at all. We came and checked in and again, personally we informed the Filipina in the front desk that this is the scenario my husband will checkout at 10pm and someone will come to replace him then she replied that would be fine. 10pm we left and pass by at the lobby to check him out and AGAIN i told them that my colleague she is on her way to the hotel to checkin & assist her while i am still at the airport! When i get back the hotel, my collleague told me that she feel ashamed and insulted by one of your staff at the front desk!! Aking her so many questions & if she's going to stay for two nights also with me and telling her it is not allowed!! Even if my colleague already told him that "we" the main guests informed the lobby already that she is coming and there was no issue he still keep on arguing with her saying not allowed to stay. Then she told him that we are working as well at hotel & we really know about the service then he said okay, she can stay & asked her which hotel she is working. When she told him the name of the hotel where we are working this guy was rudely insulted her that she is just working in a 3*!!! This was really bad! And after hearing all this from her, i was very upset and not happy. Decided to write a review about our experienced during our second stay in this hotel. Not gonna mentioned his name here but you can ask Abdallah (front desks) because he was there when i checked out today with one Indian, I'm sorry i forgot to take her name both of them are very helpful these two knows about the issue and i told them who was the guy.
I particularly thank to BESONG from house keeping department, you really did a good job man keep it up! such a nice guy, very kind and respectful. And also the incharge of cleaning my room 147 every morning (indian guy) thanks to you. And of course the bell desk staff always helpful and they remembered us. Thanks everyone
