“Enjoyable Holiday, but a bit quiet”

After a mix up with the transfers, leaving us stranded at the airport, then having to pay 55 euros for a taxi. We were all just hoping to get to our rooms and go to bed. Luckily enough the young man on reception was polite and quick in his services and we were in our rooms with in 10 mintues.

First impressions. The hotel was beautiful, extremely clean and the bed room was lovely and spacious. The TV only had one english channel, however within days of our stay when more people had arrived more became available. A minor problem.

The food quality could not be faulted, although it was repetiative. But again from a business prospective, having only opened the day before our arrival, and with the low number of quest, I personally wouldn't have expected any less. There was always something good to eat, and as for eating chicken, rice and pasta, I honestly do not see a problem with this. The food was of an excellent quality. As for the drinks, not everything was included, but all soft drinks, beer, wine, gin, vodka and raki (their own drink) was. And i think this is a reasonable selection.

The staff were fantastic, a really good mix of personalities. They were effecient in their services and were extremely polite. It was an actual shame to say goodbye to some of them. The bar staff were ace, it was very rare that i had to move from my sun lounger to get a drink as they were constantly asking if their was anything you wanted, and they brought it too us. They were really a pleasure to meet.

As for music, yes it was sometimes loud, for some, background music would have been prefered but this was to everyones preferene. For myself, as long as something decent was played i could not complain.

As for entertainment. Although day time activities were limited to step areobics, table tennis and football, i must say i only participated in this once, so this did not bother me. But that was by my own choice. For those who have been here and complained about the amount they offered, they need to ask themselves would they have even bothered to participate ? As the hotel clearly states this is not a children orrientated hotel, i wouldnt have expected much. As for the night entertainment, this was limited, for 2 nights we did not have any, however again we and the other lovely people we were fortunate enough to meet, amused ourselves and had an enjoyable night. In the end as the hotel got busier, they played bingo, had traditional folk dancers perform ect. So they did try, and if there was anything suggested by the guest they did their best to get what we wanted. I would not have expected a great deal as the hotel opened on the 3rd of april as we arrived on the 4th.

Again some of the offered facilities including the moon bar, was not opened. But we went out of season with a maximum of proberly 35+ guest. There was enough room in the main dinning area to accomodate us all. So why should the hotel bother ? It's only a disappointed because we would have liked to have tried it, not because it was a requirment but was advertised as part of the all inclusive deal.

As for hot water, yes sometimes it was not always hot. However the hotel uses solar power. Therefore if you're up too early or go up to change too late, you are not going to get any because the sun would not have heated it. This is not the hotels fault. And i do not think any harm will come from having a cool shower.

Overall i actually can honestly say i definatly enjoyed my holiday, as did my family. And we have already said we would definatly go here again, as it was one of the nicest and friendliest hotels we have ever been in.
