Today, August 23, 2026, we decided to explore the grounds of Mars Al Arab Hotel, as we are staying at a nearby hotel\. We wanted to take some photos and enjoy the beautiful surroundings\. Because of the extreme heat, we also decided to cool off in the pool for a short time\.

To our great surprise, the hotel staff immediately approached us and, in a very rude manner, demanded that we leave the property or pay to use the pool\.

We have never experienced such an unwelcoming attitude from hotel staff before\. The rules could have been explained politely, but instead, we were treated very rudely\.

The pool itself is quite small, and overall, we were extremely disappointed with the hotel, especially because of the staff’s attitude\.

It is also surprising to see how quiet and empty many hotels are at the moment\. In such circumstances, you would expect the staff to be more welcoming and friendly toward visitors\. A little kindness and hospitality can make a big difference\.

Unfortunately, after this experience, we have absolutely no desire to return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone\.
