I am writing to draw your attention to a problem I faced 2 days ago with the Hotel Sofitel Golfe d'Ajaccio Thalassa Sea & Spa, in Corsica.
For the 1st of July 2016 I booked a service providing me with the transfer from airport to this hotel with personal meeting directly in the terminal on the airport Ajaccio.
Unfortunately this service has not performed correctly because the driver was late for a half an hour and his behavior did not fit to the staff of 5* hotel, which Sofitel consider themselves.
Besides the fact that driver was very late he did not pick up the phone while I was calling from the airport to find out how more time I had to stay there and wait for his arriving, in the end, I just blocked on the phone by hotel.
I am very disappointed by such a service in Sofitel that caused me and my family considerable inconveniences . As the experienced traveler I had ordered this transfer beforehand and even more to say called directly to the hotel for 3 times to check if the everything was ok The last call I make before the flight directly from the plane!The staff of Sofitel 5* assured me that my transfer will be in time and that all their services
performed well. In fact because of their mistake my vacation started with bad mood and I am very disappointed. I do not recommend services of hotel Sofitel in Corsica.
