Hotel Mucha offers an excellent location just walking distance from the Old Town Square, shopping area Na Pořici and Wenceslas Square, the main Prague boulevard with many shops, restaurants and open air markets. The hotel is designed in the Art Nouveau style and bears the name of the most famous Czech artist of the Art Nouveau era, graphic designer and painter Alfons Mucha. Art Nouveau is an international style of art, architecture and design, that peaked in popularity at the beginning of the 20th century(1880-1914) and is characterized by highly-stylized, flowing, curvilinear designs often incorporating floral motifs.
