Marina View Hotel Apartments 4*

I stayed in this hotel during my holidays in July 2018. Marina View Hotel is located in 2 minutes walking distance from Marina Shopping Mall. Easy access to Metro. Carefour 24/7 available next door with delivery (in case you have something heavy to carry like water bottles). 10-15 minutes walk to the beach, you have to cross a little bridge. I would rate 5++ for location even if it is not a 1st beach line. The pool is OK for someone who wants to relax and enjoy the sun. Its 1.3 deep, rounded swimming pool. Comparing to other hotels like Byblos Marina I would rate the pool higher. Internet is 10++++.Very quick and always works well. Basically, hotel does not charge for internet access. I used to stay in Rotana Rose Rayhan where i had to pay a lot for my internet access per hour. Food is OK, breakfasts are very very simple, if you are not looking for something exotic you should be fine. It has all the basics (homus was good). I would recommend to improve the MENU for breakfast as it is very important while chosing the hotel. I got a studio apartment which was spacious for 1 person, I was very comfortable staying for 1 week. Bed was also very comfortable. The room has a washing machine, fridge, etc. The bathroom is also not bad. I would rate room strong 4 out of 5. Cleaning is so so, my room has been cleaned everyday but I could observe that some empty boxes were still inside the trash, the dental kit was always missing, I had to call to room service to ask for shampoo and gel every day. Also, towels were not constantly changed. I would give 2.75 out of 5 for cleaning. Overall, my recommendations are to improve the breakfast menu, observe the room cleaning. Location is fantastic, easy access to metro and shopping mall. Also, there is 1 stop to catch the Stuttle bus going to Ibn Batuta shopping mall.Its a 10 min driving distance, shuttle is FREE.
