Caribbean World Soma Bay 5*

I am from Ukraine and I had my vacation in Caribbean World Soma Bay in August 2021. This hotel has a lot of advantages:

1. the sea. It is very clean and warm. The entrance to the sea is as perfect as the beach. The sea has sandy bottom. It is good for people who can swim and for children. The length of the beach is good . If you want to sea colourful fish you must go on a tour to a special place with coral reefs as this hotel does not have rich underwater world but on the other hand it is safe . For me it was an advantage as I could swim without getting worried about some fish which , as people say, can be harmful. On the beach there are enough sunbeds and sun umbrellas. At 11 o'clock there is a dancing class on the beach ( salsa, sumba, belly dance, step aerobic) . In the sea there is aqua gym.

In the afternoon there are more dancing classes on the beach.

2. Animation. Animation team are amazing. They entertain both adults and children. We had a pool party, a foam party on the beach, a disco. At 10:30 there is stretching or yoga. Every evening there is a show for adults. These shows are hillarious and interesting ( comedy club, dancing, competitions between men and women) . I attended all evening shows as they were cool. The animators are very sociable, creative and helpful. They made the day.

3. Accommodation. Guests stay in cottages with 3 floors. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. There is a safe which is free in the room. There is a kettle and tea bags , sugar . The air-conditioner worked well. The furniture is good but not the latest fashion , I would say classical style. ( ordinary) Rooms have balconies. Every day a chambermaid cleaned our room and changed the towels. Also we got fresh bottled water every day. There is a mini bar in the room.

4. Food. There are 4 restaurants : main restaurant, Arabic, Italian, and restaurant close to the beach. Food is various. There is something to choose. I liked baked food the best. There is always chicken, beef, fish, pasta , vegetables, salads , egg dishes, desserts. Salads are typical for their cuisine. For lunch and dinner there are 2 types of soup ( one of them is again typical for this country). The minus of the food is lack of fruit. There are only a few types of fruit: melon, apples, oranges, green bananas, grapes. You can visit once arabic and italian restaurant.

5. staff. Very helpful and friendly with good sense of humour.

6. On the territorry of the hotel there is a spa centre where you can have a massage or other spa treatments for extra money.

7. The territory of the hotel is big and green. You can have a lovely walk any time.

8. There is live music in the evening.

9. There are playgrounds and water slides for children.

10. There are several pools joined together.
