Palm Royale Resort Soma Bay 5*

We and our little daughter stayed at the Palm Royal for a wonderful week. We had already been to the coast of Egypt before. But no hotel in Soma Bay or the surrounding area comes even close to this beautiful resort and the people there. From the warm welcome on site in the very impressive reception hall, to the courteous ladies and gentlemen at the reception, the service staff who are always up for a joke, to the room and the great stretch of beach - everything is perfect for a relaxing holiday. We would particularly like to mention ABO RASLAN, with the tours organized by him we were also able to explore the surrounding area (snorkeling spots such as the 7 pillars/Tobi Arbaa, turtles, etc.). These were unforgettable moments with great support from him. These excursions stand out clearly from the standard tourist offer outside. You can meet ABO RASLAN in the hotel at the Aqua Center - always friendly, with excellent language skills (Russian, English, German) and a real organizational talent. Because of him alone we will definitely come back. You can ride camels, donkeys or horses on the beach and look after them with the friendly staff - great for little holidaymakers. The SPA and fitness area is also second to none. Everything here is super modern and leaves nothing to be desired. What impressed us most was the lovingly maintained complex with all the palm trees and greenery as well as the kilometer-long beach. You can also go for a walk in both directions from the hotel. In addition, it is rare to find such a beautiful (clean) sandy beach on the Egyptian coast where you can walk very far without bathing shoes. A kite school and harbor are in the immediate vicinity. Here you will also find ideal conditions for beginners - under the German management of the surf school.
We can only say good things about the food. Very varied with various themed evenings at the buffet and you have the opportunity to go to four different restaurants of your choice. You should definitely try this out. We really liked the offer and it always tasted good. The staff in the main restaurant and the bars were always very courteous and were there at the right moment.
We were certainly lucky that there was less going on at the Palm Royal at the beginning of January. But after a few conversations over dinner with long-time guests, the experienced level could only be confirmed to us.
We can recommend the Palm Royal without exception and would be happy to come back.
