Overall, the hotel left mixed impressions. There are many truly pleasant things worth thanking them for, but unfortunately there were also serious drawbacks that noticeably affected my stay.

✅ Food – one of the strongest sides of the hotel

Lunches and dinners were very tasty and varied.

Dinner is a solid 10/10, there was always something to choose from.

I especially want to highlight the traditional Egyptian dessert feteer – it was simply the best thing they served at the hotel! It came with different flavors, incredibly delicious – I ate it every single evening. It was my absolute favorite ❤️

They also made very tasty cocktails in the restaurant.

Breakfasts were good, but in my opinion, there was a lack of meat dishes. The sausages are for an acquired taste, same with the cold cuts and cheeses. I would have liked to see some chicken or other meat options, especially considering the halal rules.

✅ Staff – mostly very nice people

Most of the staff left a very good impression:

• In the restaurant, there are friendly guys who clear the dishes very quickly, the tables are always clean. When you eat dessert, you already have a clean table in front of you. They are always smiling and ready to help. ❤️❤️❤️

• At the reception, the staff are very attentive and professional, they really do help.

• The animators are just great! It’s safe to go to the disco with them, they keep an eye on the guests and help with everything.

• The chef often came out to talk to guests and asked if everything was okay – that’s a huge plus.

We had an incredibly sweet, kind, smiling and very hard-working housekeeper.

He cleaned the room perfectly, was always friendly, and even made us a towel elephant in the room – it was very cute 🐘

He never asked for tips, which often happens in other places. If you ask for:

• water,

• toilet paper,

• towels –

he would give everything just like that, from the kindness of his heart.

He was truly the best, sweetest and most pleasant staff member in the hotel.

It was always very nice to see him, he genuinely lifted our mood.

People like him are pure gold for any hotel 💛

✅ Pool

The pool was clean, and the water was warm, even in the evening – it was comfortable to swim. I really liked this part.

❌ A very unpleasant situation with the towel and rude staff

I left my towel on a lounger by the pool and went to my room for just 15 minutes to drink some water. When I came back, the towel was gone – it had been stolen.

The problem is that if your towel gets stolen, you can’t return the towel card and are forced to pay a 15€ fine.

I went to the man who hands out the towels, explained the situation and asked for help. In response, I got aggression, rudeness, humiliation and total indifference. He rudely told me to go deal with it at the reception, because it was “not his problem”.

When I went to the reception, the very nice employees there came with me to talk to him and try to solve the situation. But he spoke to them just as rudely, raised his voice, refused to help and told them to check the cameras, saying he doesn’t know anything.

It was humiliating, unprofessional and very hurtful. It ruined my day, my mood and honestly my whole vacation. After that I completely stopped going to the pool because it was unpleasant even to see this person.

My friends were also shocked by his behavior.

👉 A person like that should not be working with guests.

🏘️Room

The room itself was generally nice, but:

• The furniture is very old, the shelves in the wardrobe were falling down, everything was basically “barely holding together”.

• I didn’t put anything in the wardrobe because it felt unsafe — I kept everything in my suitcases.

• There is an interconnecting door between the rooms – it looks very suspicious and even a bit scary.

❌ Hairdryer and water

• The hairdryer had a very short cord – this is extremely inconvenient for women, it’s almost impossible to dry your hair properly.

• The water in the shower was not warm but rather cool, and we were there in winter – this was very uncomfortable.

❌ The wrong person took the tip

We were leaving at 6 a.m. and left 300 Egyptian pounds in tips for the housekeeper on the bed.

But the man who came to check the room before checkout took this money for himself, even though it was absolutely obvious that this money was meant for the cleaning staff, not for the room inspector.

This is very ugly, unfair and disgusting. It gives the impression that he does this all the time.

❌ Waterpark – the worst and most dangerous one I’ve ever been to

The waterpark is old, unsafe and very worn out.

I almost flew out of one of the slides, badly scraped my elbow and back, and got injured.

The slide was open, with a sharp turn, the tube (ring) flew off, and I slid down almost without it all the way to the bottom. It was very scary and genuinely life-threatening.

Many slides are:

• rusty,

• unsafe,

• not suitable for going down while sitting, but no one really warns you about that.

👉 I absolutely do not recommend this waterpark. It needs to be closed for a full renovation, because people can seriously injure themselves or even die there.

❌ Beach and cruel treatment of animals

On the beach, camels walk among the people, and they looked exhausted, with visible wounds and blood marks on their necks.

I am strongly against the exploitation of animals, so for me this was another huge minus.

Conclusion:

The hotel can be recommended for its food, service and many genuinely nice people working there.

But because of the waterpark and one very unpleasant incident with staff, I am not sure I would come back again.
