Throughout my entire stay, Kerolos—a bartender in the main restaurant—kept smirking at me, making fun of me, pointing his finger, and discussing and laughing at me with a colleague right in front of me. He mocked me for not understanding the language and for what was on my plate; he ridiculed, joked about, and teased me. The final straw was when he set down a drink and told me, "This isn't for you—don't touch it," then poured it for himself and laughed at me again. Am I his buddy or something? He could see I was alone; if I had been with a man, he would have kept his mouth shut. He saw that I was uncomfortable but kept doing it every single day. Do you not train your staff at all? Do you realize I won't come back because of him? You are losing customers! I have never experienced worse service.
