Absolutely terrible experience — DO NOT RECOMMEND

I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel. In fact, if you are considering booking it, my advice is: do not come here. Save your money and choose another hotel.

The attitude of the staff towards us was absolutely unacceptable. We are from Moldova and speak Russian, and throughout our stay we felt that Russian-speaking guests were treated differently. The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful, as if we were not paying guests but people who were bothering them.

What shocked us the most was the attitude towards people who do not speak English well. When we tried to explain that there was a problem with our room and asked to change it, the staff literally laughed in our faces and asked, “Do you speak English?” The message was very clear: if you do not speak English, they simply do not want to deal with you. You are treated as if you are somehow less important or even less human. This is completely unacceptable in a hotel where guests from different countries come to spend their money and enjoy their holiday.

The rooms are terrible. Some rooms have no proper windows and feel more like a basement or a staff room. There was a horrible sewage smell, and in one room the drainage was blocked. The rooms were also extremely dirty. After cleaning, there were still other people’s hairs on the toilet. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

Basic services are also treated as an opportunity to charge guests extra. Water was not properly replenished in the room. We asked for a towel and were charged €10 for it, even though towels should be provided as part of normal hotel service. What made the situation even more unpleasant was that we were the only Russian-speaking guests and were treated in this way.

The beach is a complete disaster. It looks like a neglected wild beach rather than a proper hotel beach. It is dirty, there are cigarette butts everywhere, and the sea is full of large stones. You constantly hit your feet on the rocks and it is extremely uncomfortable to swim. There are no lifeguards and no proper warning signs informing guests when the sea conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for swimming. There is absolutely no sense that anyone is responsible for guests’ safety.

The food is another huge disappointment. Almost no variety, poor presentation, and most of it is simply tasteless. The drinks are just as bad. The alcohol tastes extremely poor and heavily diluted and is practically impossible to drink.

We even tried to resolve these issues with the guide who brought us to the hotel. Unfortunately, the guide simply acted as if nothing had happened and did not make any serious attempt to help us or solve the problems.

This was supposed to be a holiday, but instead we spent our time dealing with rude staff, disgusting smells, dirty rooms, poor food, terrible drinks, an unclean beach and completely unacceptable customer service.

I would never return to this hotel. I do not recommend it to anyone. Think very carefully before booking this place, especially if you do not speak English — based on our experience, you may be treated extremely disrespectfully simply because of that.
