The main problem — access to the pools and the sea.

The sea was closed due to an oil spill (an environmental disaster beyond the hotel’s control). But instead of offering a decent alternative, the hotel simply “dumped” all guests with children in the back area. We were not given access to Laguna Pool with children. In effect, all guests with children were herded into a small area in the back of the hotel, in the middle of the parking lot.

The service level is below any acceptable standard (2 stars):

Only one small pool operates there. The second pool only works during the water slides’ operating hours, and at that time you cannot swim there — you will simply be knocked over by the flow. No alternatives were offered. This area is in a terrible location; it feels like you are not at a hotel but in a parking lot.

Queues and chaos:

At the bar and cafe near this pool, the queue is over 20 people. This is not a vacation, it is survival.

Rude staff and conflicts:

While trying to seat people at this single small pool, the staff began removing belongings from occupied sunbeds! They simply threw away the towels and belongings of those who had taken the places earlier in order to seat new guests. This led to mass conflicts and arguments among tourists. An hour later they started bringing additional sunbeds, but it was too late — the place had turned into an anthill.

Bottom line:

Right now it feels like a cheap three-star place in Turkey, not a hotel we paid money for. The service level is two stars. If you are traveling with children and value peace and quiet — stay away. I am already editing the video evidence (including the parking-lot area and the bar queue).
