  The resort’s premier restaurant Amber offers a relaxing, yet elegant, all-day dining experience. Prepared by our world-class chefs, dishes are led by strong Thai influences, as well as range of other Asian tastes. Stained glass wall murals and contemporary artwork characterize the unique design, while sophisticated cluster lighting creates a romantic mood. Guest can enjoy the unique concept of ‘eating in the kitchen’ as our chefs prepare dishes at a live cooking station, or they can opt to dine alfresco with spectacular views over the Gulf of Thailand. During the day, the "a la carte" menu offer an eclectic range of dishes, with a particular focus on Asian seafood specialities.

  Activities

  Complimentary activities and facilities for all guests include: seven swimming pools including one infinity edge pool, snorkeling, sailing, ocean kayaking, windsurfing, a fitness centre, tennis, mountain biking, pool room and kids’ activities and excursions at Planet Trekkers.
  
  The following activities are offered to guests at an additional charge Tai Chi, yoga, stretch, Thai boxing, beach power walking and Thai cooking classes.
  
  Sightseeing excursions are available at an additional charge and include hiking, treetop tour cable ride, diving and snorkeling at Koh Tao Turtle Island (one of the best diving sites in Thailand), shopping, boat trips, elephant trekking, a buffalo fight show and visits to local fruit farms.

  Kids Club - Plannet Trekkers

  Planet Trekkers is the resort’s signature kids’ club, designed to entertain and inspire our younger guests, while you enjoy some much-needed time off. Catering specifically for two distinct age groups:
  4-7 and 8-12, your children will have access to fun and positive learning experiences that will genuinely enrich their time in Thailand.
  
  Under the watchful eye of our trained and caring staff, they will be introduced to some of the many traditions, sights and sounds of beautiful Koh Samui through a range of activities throughout the day. A nanny service is also available for children under four years of age and for babysitting outside of Plant Trekkers’ hours.

  At InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, we go out of our way to make our youngest guests feel welcome. Children aged 0 to 4 years can order food from any of the restaurants' children's menu (food and beverage) on a complimentary basis. Children aged 4 through 12 receive a 50% discount from any of the restaurants' a la carte menu (food and beverage), including buffets.
  Please kindly note that no discount is given on the Planet Trekkers kids menu.
