    Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) was completed in 27 December 1989 and was officially opened on 9 June 1996 by Prof. Dr-Ing Wardiman Djojonegoro the Minister of Education & Culture of The Republic Indonesia and ARMA is the realized dream of its founder Agung Rai. It is founded on principles that reflect his philosophy, which is one that includes an intense love for art and, even more so, for the preservation of art for the purpose of sharing it with the community. ARMA resort officially established in 1982 with 15 rooms under the name “Puri Indah” which mean Beautiful Palace.
