Oleandri Resort Paestum 4*

The Oleandri Resort is located in Paestum, Campania, Italy, 300 metres from the Tyrrhenian Sea, 2 km from the Greek Temples and at the gates of the National Park of Cilento.

 

The great swimming pool (850 sq. metres) is positioned in the heart of the Resort and it’s equipped with sun umbrellas and deckchairs; a small central island is accessible by two wooden bridges, hydro massage, waterfalls, kids wading pool, wide solarium and the Poolside Bar make it a wonderful setting.

 

Children (3-10 years old) are allowed to play at an outdoor playground, sheltered by the surrounding trees.

 

Guests are welcome to take part in the scene at the main lobby, elegantly refined with prestigious ceramics of Vietri. Engage in a game of chess, or read while enjoying a drink from the bar. A great place for relaxing, using the free Wi-Fi, or getting additional assistant from our secretaries, which also make it a great meeting place. The outdoor terrace and the gardens follow along behind it.

 

Here an indoor market takes place once a week, where it’s possible to find local items such as, home-made jewelry, made with Coral from Torre del Greco, ceramic wares from Vietri, local food, and typical liquors from the local area.

 

The resort has two restaurants: the main restaurant, "Il Rosmarino", at the center of the resort, offers a menu that blends the classic Mediterranean recipes with delicious cooking secrets of Cilento. At lunch and dinner you can enjoy a delicious pizza cooked in a wood oven. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served hereFor guests who want to stay on the beach the whole day, at the Lido Restaurant Ilgigliodimare (meals not included in treatment) can have lunch and delight your palate with delicious dishes based on fresh fish or simply enjoy tasty snacks and sandwiches.

 

At breakfast, the buffet is very rich, including a great variety of local and handmade pastries and cakes. At lunch and dinner our friendly staff will serve you, while you will have a wide choice of side dishes on the buffet.

 

Since March 2012, our hotel has become part of the “Eat out gluten free”, promoted by AIC (Italian Celiac Association), in order to guarantee a safe, high quality and gluten-free food, allowing you to enjoy a holiday without any problems. Any preferences and needs are taken note of at registration; as our staff will be happy meet your needs as much as possible!

 

The private beach, an ideal place for everyone, has been recently updated, including clean sand and new beach equipment. Situated only 250 metres from the Resort, makes it reachable on foot along a cool path covered by the pines. The bar and restaurant on the beach are open for quick and light snack without giving up the pleasure of fine food, from 1st June to 15th September. Each room/apartment includes a sun umbrella, two sunbeds, and a beach chair from the third row and outward. An extra fee is charged for the first and second rows (by request at the time of reservation).

 

Entertainment is provided by our personal entertainment staff (from the end of May to September) providing activities all day long. At the beach in the morning and at the pool in the afternoon, you are invited to participate in fun activities for all ages. In the evening performances will take place for your entertainment. Our program proposes activities like: games, competitions, tournaments, aqua-gym, aerobics, ping pong, evening shows and the piano bar, with an occasional exhibition of singers. Our Mini club is available six days a week from the end of May to September, including different recreational and sporting activities depending on the child’s interests and age. Some favourites, “Mani in Pasta (kids kneading pizza dough)”, baby dance and a baby show after dinner take place once a week.

Beach service- seasonal (except in adverse weather conditions): private beach with showers and services. For each apartment/room we provide a parasol, two sunbeds and a director's chair. The assignment is free starting from 3rd row (1st and 2nd have to be requested at booking, with extra charge, subject to availability).

Pool service- seasonal (except with adverse weather conditions): private outdoor swimming pool equipped with parasols, sunbeds and beach chairs. Entertainment and Kids-club Oleandri Mare (seasonal) on the beach: beach volleyball, archery and water-gym for adults, and a dedicated area, delimited and equipped, reserved for children, with assistance by qualified personnel.

 

Entertainment Service(seasonal): daytime assistance by a staff that, discreetly and never intrusively, guarantees: races and sports tournaments, aerobics lessons, water aerobics, gymnastics, dance, yoga, table tennis, darts; evening entertainment: shows and piano bar.

Oleandri Kids Club(seasonal) for children from 3 to 12 years, 6 days a week. Various recreational and sports activities are offered, according to the needs of the various ages, proposed by qualified personnel. "Knead" activity once a week, children dancing after dinner, and kids performances and special shows.

 

Pyjamas Club is a baby-sitting group (no specific activity planned). It gives the opportunity for parents to leave their children in the company of staff for children; experienced and qualified in Olea's House, a whole area dedicated to them with all the necessary amenities (beds, sofas, workshops, video area, etc.) to spend the whole day, have lunch and take a nap in the afternoon with the entertainers.
