Gypsophila Club Marine 5*

I have been to 6 countries and it was the 4th time to Turkey. However this trip must have been the worst ever. From the first glance it seemed that we would have a great holiday. We were met at the airport the good things ended there. The bus took us to the hotel and we arrived we expected to see a holiday village. Instead the only thing we saw was a hotel with the similar name in the city, a lot of shops, concrete and a failed trick which was not successful. The guide told us that someone had to notify us about staying a night in this hotel, but none of 6 families weren’t notified. We insisted to be delivered to our real hotel. Upon arriving we were told there were no rooms for us even though we had paid for rooms which were confirmed by the hotel. The hotel offered other solutions trying to promote the first hotel. Finally, after 3-hours arguing four families were transferred to a different village complex and two stayed at the current one. To cut a long story short, I have seen:

the village is overloaded with guests and all the facilities are overstretched

when we went to the restaurant at 19:30 to had dinner (the in the brochure) we spent 15 minutes just looking for any table, even though the restaurant has a large hall and three decent patios.

from time to time we saw a long line to the meat dished

at 7am all the sunbeds were reserved by guests so if you want to have a place on the beach come at 6am or earlier and meet the sun

we saw a lot of guest changing rooms because of various problems, even we had to change the room because of the bad smell.

our key-card broke 4 times during our 10 day visit, that is a lot.

we waited for the bathrobes for 3 or 4 days, asking the reception about them everyday.

The previous hotel I stayed was less than 1 km away, cheaper but much better. I will avoid Amara Club Hotel chain and I recommend the same.
